The Launch

Here’s our story:

We lived in Philadelphia for 7.5 years before we moved out in fall of 2018 in hopes to find a new apartment. We placed our stuff in storage when we couldn’t find one to transition into, and after nomad-ing around Philadelphia for 1.5 months to finish up some work, we felt to visit my parents for the holidays. It quickly turned into a 2.5 year stay where we transitioned to phone calls and web meetings for work. When everyone was trying to figure out how to transition digitally in 2020, we had already been doing that a year prior. With the shut down, being on an acre of land in the suburbs with 3,500 square foot space to play indoors was so helpful.

We’re leaving the area where I grew up (North NJ) and embarking on an adventure in a rented truck and trailer. Our first destination is the Philadelphia storage unit where we will be organizing our belongings. We’re headed towards the West Coast without knowing where to land yet, but we’ll be sharing things we find to do along the way. Follow us on our journey here!

(With travel, I will be posting these post-trip so the dates posted are not the exact dates when we’re in those locations just in case you were wondering and counting how long it took us to get from place to place. For anyone wondering, we traveled in the month of June.)
