The Academy of Natural Sciences

Academy of Natural Sciences is another great place for a rainy day activity. On the third floor, there's a fun place called "Outside In". They have animals you can pet (this time it was a turtle, another time there was a snake). There's books and puzzles as well as sand play.

Depending upon the season, there's also butterflies that you can see in the butterfly exhibit!

Our toddler's not too into the rest of the place but I thought it was neat to walk past "behind the scenes" and see what they're working on.
