Connect Four

Hubs and I purchased a Connect Four game to play with one another. We found 2 other ways you can use Connect Four pieces for toddler play.

One way is to cover each piece with aluminum foil. Once covered, we stick it into an IKEA Variera filled with beans. We try to use the same aluminum foil over and over again so we don't waste any. Our toddler typically unwraps them gently so it stays intact.

Another way to play with Connect Four is to balance them and line them up or to push them down like dominos.

Side note: we use the IKEA Variera in the IKEA TRONES for play storage. One TRONES has art supplies where the colored pencils are stored in the Variera. Another TRONES has miscelleous things like empty seltzer bottles we use as bowling pins and the Variera holds pingpongs.
