Smith Memorial Playground and Playhouse

Quick drive from Center City is Smith Memorial Playground. It's property that provides 6 1/2 acre outdoor play space and a 16,000 square foot indoor space. My fave is the wooden slide that adults can ride along with the kids. It's typically closed through the winter and there are days that the outdoor space is not open. Be sure to call ahead so you don't make a wasted trip.
