Narberth Playground

02 Jul 2018

Narberth Playground is in Montgomery County, 20 minutes away from Center City, Philly. The playground is covered in sand so you'll see kids running barefoot during the summer. It's a great place for littles because the sand is soft so it cushions falls.

It has quite an offering with a small basketball court, soccer field, baseball field, tennis courts and playground for 2 different age groups. It's so much better than a city playground because it offers a lot of shade.

A note about the sand box. There are toys left there for everyone to use and share. The digger is cool but it's a bit big to use for littles (our toddler is 2) so hubs has to help him and let him stand on the seat to reach it.

Next to the playground is a library that's perfect for reading books and quieting down, using the loo and washing hands.

It's not the same window but you can see how close the library is to the playground

After a playground visit, we typically stop by Wynnewood Whole Foods (3 min drive) for lunch or a snack (and to grocery shop) and Maedo before heading back to Center City.
